Ashley Bohan

Hello! My name is Ashley Bohan, and I am a senior neuroscience major from Troy, NY. I became interested in diversity in STEM after attending Wellesley College for a year as part of Amherst's 12 College Exchange Program. By attending both a co-ed and a women's college, I experienced first-hand the impact that different learning environments can have on the way women navigate STEM education. Outside of the classroom, you can usually find me baking pies, playing frisbee, or playing in Horn Ensemble and the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.

My Projects

I am the project leader for the Testimony Project. As such, I was in charge of consolidating the student, faculty and staff interviews conducted by me and my classmates, pulling out themes and patterns.

I also contributed articles to the Diversity in STEM Lit search, which you can find here.
